![]() so overall feeling is like always lacking something. Lmao the main reason is perhaps my bad plain lineart of the character hahaha. Thus multiple "re-used" plain panels to convey conversation and plainly cropped single colour interior wall, mid/foreground with single character, anyone have more ideas to give variations of a quick solution? (This is not saying the gradient solution is bad, is a great quick solution, what I am trying is to have as many creative perspective solution to these situation, cause throughout the webtoon story we probably going to reused a lot of panel) However, I can only use the gradient background for a certain amount of times, cause the space where the character is in needs to be somewhat relevant as the conversation goes, and emotions is not always like a roller-coaster. Note that light and shadow is "constant" due to the same light source in the room, and to save time we probably reuse the scene to convey for example conversation. What could be alternative ways for example, a situation where a character is speaking/stationary for multiple scenes/panels, where the scene will be indoors and just a background of a interior wall. Other than using gradient background and perhaps "patterns" brushes to express emotions/feelings, If this post still stay relevant, I would like to hear more suggestions or perspective if anyone have time to spare to enlighten me, a newbie :) Thank you guys. It might be plain because of lack of lineart, but is there additional tips for enhancing a boring plain panel? (Technical wise/drawing wise, not like adding additional story whatsoever) For example maybe add noise to the drawing to create texture for example yeah idk how to use the noise for better application. The overall feel of that particular panel is JUST SO "PLAIN" like idk if you get what I am trying to say. I struggled to have good art fundamentals and spent hours on drawing my one character in one panel, then I realised the lack of detailed lineart when I barely struggling to get the overall lineart to work. However, i am asking for "quick, easy" way of making webtoon panels background specifically. I know is always great to have background of a environment drawn, or zoomed in version of a background.
